Since last I spoke the house is all braced and the steel is in place above the garage door and the last piece of steel for the garage roof line extension is waiting to go up once the pillar posts are all set in their concrete.  The last of the frames are up inside and all the brackets are all dinabolted to the floor.  Joe wasn't happy with the bog standard pillar footings that were to hold up the alfresco so he had them dug out and had big 150mm square posts put in to give them more strength in event of an earthquake it would hold the roof way better.  The drains have now been dug and we made sure the allowance for a water tank is going to gather all the water from the gutters to water our vege gardens out the back.

Roof trusses get delivered on Monday and will be up next week.  We have a meeting on Thursday at 9.30 to go over the window plan on site so that all measures are hunky dory from here till installing.
